Three Pillars. One Outcome: Sustainable Music Careers.

  • Representing musicians at the city, state, and federal levels

Advocacy ensures musicians have a voice—and a future.

Education
Build Income

  • Master Classes with industry leaders

  • Legal, copyright, and royalty training

  • Marketing + revenue strategy development

  • Artist-to-Entrepreneur Mastermind

Education turns talent into sustainable careers.

Economic Development
Create Income

  • Night Shift industry mixers

  • Real-world income pathways

Economic development puts dollars in musicians’ pockets.

2026 Initiatives Your Brand Can Power

  • Advocacy: Local, State & Federal

Doubling down on the work that shapes long-term change. Including federal-level AI lobbying, battling harmful streaming royalty rates that keep songwriters and performers underpaid—one of the most challenging issues in modern music policy, but one we are committed to taking on as our organization grows.

  • Expanded Education & Professional Development

Hands-on training, expert-led workshops, and career-building support to help musicians grow their skills and income.

  • Discounted Parking + Safe Escort Program

Practical, real-world support to keep musicians safe and help reduce the rising costs of performing in Austin.

  • Green Room Downtown

A dedicated space for artists to recharge, hang out, and collaborate between gigs in the heart of Austin.

  • A Tech-Driven Gear Theft Solution

We’re developing tools to help protect musicians’ livelihoods and reduce the growing threat of stolen equipment.

ATXM is entering its most ambitious year yet.

Sponsorship fuels:

  • 🎛 The Green Room Creative Hub (Downtown)

  • 🚗 Discounted Parking + Safe Escort Programs

  • 🎤 Expanded Paid Performance Opportunities

  • 🎶 Night Shift Music Industry Mixers

  • 🛠 Tech-Driven Gear Theft Protection Tools

  • 🏛 Federal Advocacy on AI + Streaming Rights

This is not programming.
This is infrastructure for a creative workforce.

Why Sponsor ATXM

Austin’s Music Is an Economy—And It Needs Infrastructure

Austin’s global reputation is built on live music. But the musicians behind that identity face:

  • Rising cost of living

  • Unstable and inconsistent income

  • Rapid industry and technology changes

  • Limited access to business education

Without intervention, the ecosystem breaks. ATXM exists to ensure it doesn’t.

Wendy Colonna
Director of Education

Wendy Colonna, Director of Education for ATX Musicians, brings nearly three decades of professional experience as a touring artist, songwriter, creative entrepreneur, and certified career coach. In this role, Wendy works closely with the ATXM team to guide the development of educational programming that reflects the real needs of Austin musicians.

She works alongside the ATXM team to curate quarterly master classes—spotlighting subject-matter experts across licensing, booking, recording, marketing, and more—and teaches her own quarterly soft-skills series focused on mindset, business development, and creative entrepreneurship.

In 2026, Wendy will also lead Artist to Entrepreneur, a 12-week mastermind that helps musicians assess career health, identify gaps, understand their audience, and design sustainable business and marketing strategies that align with their vision, values, and goals. Her work centers on listening deeply to artists, resourcing them well, and helping them build the clarity, confidence, and community needed to grow on their own terms.
